Bayview

The location of the Bayview makes it one of the most beautiful communities in Calgary. Bayview features 1 of 2 marinas on the Glenmore Resevoir and many of the homes back onto the beautiful lakefront and lush greenery. The average asking price for homes listed for sale in Bayview is typically $1 Million upwards. In addition to stunning views, large lots, and impressive homes, residents also an enjoy kayaking, sailing and bike pathways in their backyard. Bayview sides onto South Glenmore Park which has a children's variety park (spray park & playground), The Quinterra Legacy Garden and a Bike Pump Track. Bayview shares a community association with neighboring Palliser and Pump Hill, The PBP Community Association offers a full time daycare/preschool and a well maintained outdoor rink located behind the Community Center. 

Although Bayview is not close to an LRT station, the new BRT can get residents downtown quickly, there are also regular buses with stops on 90th Avenue. With the completion of the SW Ring Road access is easier and a trip to the new Costco or Westhills shopping center is a breeze.  Bayview residents can access the Ring Road via 90th Avenue. 

There are no schools located in Bayview, but a primary & secondary school located in the neighboring community of Palliser. Nellie McClung is located on Palliser Drive and John Ware just blocks away on 19th Street SW.  For the little ones, Seedlings Spanish Preschool is a great option & they now offer a full-day preschool/daycare program. The Louis Riel Science School (K-9) located in Oakridge is a great option and runs on a lottery program.
